Steve Chapple is an award-winning author of many books and writer of the national newspaper column Intellectual Capital. His current book is "Breakpoint: Reckoning With America's Environmental Crises," with co-author Jeremy B.C. "Kayaking the Full Moon" was a New York Times Notable. "Let the Mountains Talk, Let the Rivers Run" was written with David Brower, Exec. Dir. of the Sierra Club. Chapple is Exec. Director of the San Diego Unified STEAM Leadership Series, and a Visiting Scholar at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography/UCSD. Educated at Yale College and UCSD, he divides his time between La Jolla, CA, and Alpine, MT.
