Rick Sorkin is a Santa Monica, California-based producer, cultural consultant, songwriter, photographer and comedian. He produces and records music under the name SPELLS (@thisIsSpells).

He created and served as musical director of Le Cabaret Melange, a long running, successful live comedy and cabaret show in NYC and Philadelphia, with performances at Joe’s Pub, Mercury Lounge, and World Cafe.

Rick Executive Produced 2018’s TELETHON FOR AMERICA, an historic get-out-the-vote live broadcast featuring Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron, Jane Fonda and nearly 80 more socially conscious entertainers.

He has ghost tweeted and written for some of the comedy world's biggest names (but he can’t tell you which ones). Oh, and Obama follows him on Twitter, no big deal.
