With over 17 years of experience in radio broadcasting, the Mexican-American, Burbank- native, Marcela Luévanos has held some of the most important positions in Los Angeles Radio and on a national level while working with some of the most prominent Morning Radio Personalities. Her beginning as a solo radio personality on KSCA La Nueva 101.9 FM radio station has led to many great collaborations, such as co-hosting with Eddie Piolin Sotelo on El Show de Piolin on Sirius XM, Satellite Radio. For the last three years, Marcela hosted her morning radio show on La Poderosa on the digital platform, DashRadio, being one of the few women to headline a morning show. She held the #1 spot on the Dash Platform with over 500K weekly listeners since its launch.
Marcela’s versatility includes working in various music formats and capacities. Her extensive experience with various formats includes Regional Mexican, Adult Contemporary, Country and Pop Formats as well as Talk. She has conducted interviews with Top Latin artists such as Ricky Martin, Intocable, Tigres del Norte, Ricardo Arjona, Gloria Trevi, and Jenni Rivera, as well as served as an official translator with prominent guests - such as Mel Gibson, New York Senator and Presidential Candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton, Massachusetts State Senator Edward Moore Kennedy, Arizona State Senator and US. Presidential Candidate John McCain, and even First Lady Michelle Obama and then, President Elect Barack Obama.
Marcela’s charismatic personality has even lent itself to the stage as she has presented major recording artists in prestigious and world-renowned venues such as Vicente Fernandez at the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, CA and Madison Square Garden in New York, Pepe Aguilar at the Gibson, Intocable, Marco Antonio Solis, and Banda El Recodo along with many others.
Staying current with music and popular world capturing audience events, Marcela has covered and broadcasted for various editions of the Latin Grammy, Billboard Awards and Sporting events such as boxing events with Golden Boy Promotions and UFC.
Giving back to her community is dear to Marcela’s heart. She supports various events as a Brand Ambassador for Los Angeles Times, Unidos por la Musica, The Archdiocese of Los Angeles and Amanecer to name a few.
Marcela has been actively participating in mentoring students, toy drives, radio-thons, special city campaigns, and speaking at leadership and empowerment events throughout Los Angeles. She expands her passion for broadcasting as a voice over actress and is also an entrepreneur as she has developed and created her cosmetics and skin care line, BellaMarci.
Continuing her passion and ability to connect with her listeners through the airwaves, Marcela is currently in development to launch her new podcast in early March of 2019 along with the expansion of BellaMarci with a new organic skin care line.
