Saul Jauregui’s lifelong passion for food began at a very young age. He was fortunate enough to grow up in a household that stressed the importance of having home cooked meals at the table surrounded by family and friends. He believes that food is the universal language and cultural bridge that brings people together.
Born and raised in Highland Park in city of Los Angeles. He began his culinary journey as a Prep Cook/Line Cook for Cole’s restaurant in downtown Los Angeles. After gaining some restaurant experience, he decided to gain additional experience on larger production and moved on to be a Hospital Dietary/Café Cook. As a dietary cook he learned extensively about diet restrictions and variations dependent on the different types of diseases, illnesses, and allergies. Eventually, he realized that he had an immense passion for food and decided to expand his culinary knowledge and technique and applied to be a student at the Culinary Institute of America in Northern California. While attending culinary school he continued to grow my culinary knowledge through restaurants like Hog Island oyster company and Bottega with celebrity Chef Michael Chiarello. Soon after culinary school he become a Sous Chef and later Restaurant Chef at the Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa, California. Inevitably, his culinary journey brought him back to his roots. He's currently a Private Chef in Los Angeles, allowing him to creatively showcase and express his love for food.
