Scott C. Silver

Scott C. Silver is an American-born filmmaker who is also an award-winning editor with more than eight years of post-production experience. Silver hails from a line of entrepreneurs and business has taken him to China, Mexico, Canada and Southeast Asia. He has a degree in film from Clark University and earned his MFA in film editing at the world-renowned American Film Institute (AFI), where he learned the art of storytelling from the inside out. In 2008 Silver and fellow AFI alumnus Chady Eli Mattar founded Silvatar Media. Their first film, Removal, a psychological thriller starring Billy Burke, Kelly Brook and Elliott Gould, was named one of the five scariest films of 2011 by MoreHorror.com. Their next project, The Pyramid, was their first for a major Hollywood studio (20th Century Fox). Most recently, Silver produced Danger One, an action-comedy starring Tom Everett Scott and Denis O'Hare, as well as the high-octane actioner Wheelman, starring Frank Grillo. His company also teamed up with Oscar-nominated Swiss filmmaker Timo von Gunten (The Railroad Lady) to produce The Man Who Sold the Eiffel Tower, the life story of the notorious international con man Victor Lustig.
