Originally from San Diego, Kim Nguyen got her start in a cappella with the UCSD Daughters of Triton. After college, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she helped form CAL group Premiere and served as the group's publicity manager for three years. In her time managing Premiere's marketing strategy, the group established itself as a go-to a cappella entertainer in Los Angeles, working with clients like TBS, LA Galaxy, and the Los Angeles Public Library system. Currently, Kim sings with Top Shelf Vocal and serves on the LAAF production team as the social media manager. Outside of a cappella, she works in marketing at an academic publisher.
