Can a physical environment tell an engaging story that brings audiences to tears? “The Nest” - an immersive theater production incorporating elements of narrative video games, escape rooms, and serialized podcasts - was able to do just that. In this presentation, Jeff Leinenveber and Jarrett Lantz, Creative Directors of “The Nest,” will share both theoretical and practical principles of immersive set design and environmental storytelling. *To experience “The Nest,” check out the activation on the Newstory Playground.
